By law, every dog in Queen Anne’s County must be licensed. The licenses expire on December 31st each year. You must re-license your dog every year, unless you purchase a three (3) year license.

You will need to provide a copy of your current rabies vaccination certificate (not copy of the tag) and spay/neuter certificate (if applicable) with your application. Failure to provide these will delay processing of your license.

To obtain your county dog license, you may:

• Visit our office and purchase one
• Mail a completed form and payment
• Use our online licensing system

2013 Licensing Fees

One Year License

• Spayed or Neutered – $10.00
• Not Spayed or Neutered – $25.00
• Transfer – $5.00
• Duplicate – $5.00

Three Year License

• Spayed or Neutered – $25.00
• Not Spayed or Neutered – $50.00
• Transfer – $5.00
• Duplicate – $5.00
